Good luck Nick with all you are trying to do with regard to bowel cancer . Iam sorry for your loss i to lost my eldest sister 6 years ago to bowel cancer and she fought very hard for four and half years she lost the battle at the age of 49 and was diagnosed at about 45 . Why do we in Wales have to fight for everything we are always treated as the poor relatives of the country, i do wish you and your family all the best and on behalf of everyone thank you for what you are trying to do for us all here in Wales.

Hi. I attended the pilot scheme in Swansea as the Welfare Officer of The Royal Airforces Association.The reason being a lot of our Members are Elderly and may want to take part in providing samples etc for testing. I attended the one in Swansea at the Breast Test Centre. I sent a reciept for car parking to Alison who arranged this session.There seemed to be problems reclaiming this money so I sent an email telling her to forget it. The next thing I had an email inviting me to the next meeting in Swansea.I sent an email declining stating the problems I had last time and that I would like to be removed from the mailing list.To date I have not had the courtesy of a reply.I would have thought it would be of advantage to get large groups of people involved in testing but this is not the way to do it. hello nick myself and paul have had the privalidge to have been fortunate enough to have met you and also marcia your wife who you sadly lost in 2006.she was a very good friend and each and every time we saw marcia when dealing with her illness she was always very happy go lucky and positive despite how she really felt on the inside. Wishing you every success with your campaign. My husband suffered from bowel problems for more than 50 years and was regularly screened for bowel cancer. It is a somewhat taboo subject and hopefully this site will help raise people's awareness.

Nick, This web site is a credit to you in memory of marcia your wonderful wife. We miss her every day. The dignity she had through her illness we will never forget . We were lucky people to have known her and her friendship to us will remain with us as long as live. We are here for you now nick. Love as always Carolyn and Dewi.
